At the heart of the startup…

I was very fortunate this year to go to TechCrunch50 with my job at Seesmic. If you’re not familiar, this is a venue for startups to show what they are made of. It’s a pretty high profile event in the tech world and beyond. Presenters are no longer only internet superstar but also Hollywood superstars. This year Ashton Kutcher presented his big web idea.

While the glamor and gilts is all good I actually have a soft spot for a room outside the main stage called the Demo Pit and that is where I spent my days. The innovation was good but in many cases the stories behind sites were even better. This video has some of the highlights. Watch this space in the weeks to ahead for full pieces on the companies I talked with.

    I do not do sukhjit editing but I make the site pretty and.... that's about it. The first video I did music and editing to just test the site but nothing permanent. http://www.sukhjit.me/post/coming-soon/

    Yes this was a good report ... the editing is quite fluent? is that how you say it? any way .. you civerde the event really nicely and the video has a good pace so .. one sees it with pout getting bored at all ... A good combination between seripous Reporting and a good sense of humor.
  • Just seeing your comment Hache. Thanks for your feedback on the reporting! I had fun and I think the people I interviewed did too. I think it was a little long, but there were so many good startups. I still have more I am going to make short videos from and post here.

I've been meaning to get back to you and talk to you about the process I've taken to get this vlog off the ground as well as chat with you about ideas you might have for your own blog or vlog.
