Tea Time on my Zannel channel

This week I’m starting to use a new microblogging tool called Zannel. Similar to Twitter, Zannel let’s you post quick text updates and video and pictures too. I’m embedding the player here on Sukhjit3.0 but my content post on Zannel’s site and into their international community where users can follow and comment. Are you using it yet?

For the next month, I’ll be using my Zannel channel for tea time. Each day after 4, I will post a tea time video. Why 4 and why every day? I’m one of a group of San Franciscan’s posting to the 420News each day at… well, 4:20 pm.  I know what you’re thinking… “4:20 has some interesting connotations, Sukhjit”. Well, Friends, to me 4:20 means I’m probably having my last cup of tea for the day. That is truly what I’m usually doing around then…. and if I’m on the farm with my family it means I am probably having my 3rd or 4th cup of tea. So whatever 420 means to you, or anyone else,  to me it’s tea time. I plan to post a fabulous afternoon snack each day. If you’re interested, I hope you’ll check it out. I promise… if nothing else, I’ll show you something delicious. My first snack was actually sponsored by the lovely Brian and Keisha of That Takes the Cake. They are a fabulous husband and wife team who earn their living making and selling cupcakes.

One last thing just so you know, the 420News is a 30 day project I signed up for with Zannel and it’s a competition. If I get the most followers out of the San Francisco 420News group I can win a brand new FlipCam (which I really want) and some cash (which I really need). So, feel free to press my follow on Zannel. You’ll be helping to push me closer to the #1 winning spot. Thanks, Friends!

  • Yeah,I like Some of these are just too cute for words!
  • Interesting. Wonder if it's a mark of some kind of sordid pseudo success if people start squatting on one's username on relatively new services? I didn't sign up for zannel, but somebody locked down my name in December and has made zero use of the service. I suppose it could be a coincidence; but despite city namesakes in Colorado and Washington, it's not all that common of a username, after all. Wonder if PeopleBrowsr could help in sorting out such ID claims, moving forward? Just thinkin' out loud, as usual; thanks for keeping the great new ideas flowing, Sukhjit!
