This is video camera I’ve been shooting with lately

I’m pretty impressed with this year’s line of Handycams and wanted to make sure those of you who video blog or are interested in a video camera that is high quality know about this one. I did this video at the Photo Marketing Association show earlier this year and this years line of video cameras have since come to market. This year’s Handycams have s a wider angle lens than previous models,  the low light capability has improved since last year and the zoom response is amazing. Watch how quickly the camera comes into focus with all of my movements. I shot the video above with the DCR-SX83 which is also the camera featured in the video. I’d have to say $399 is a good price too. What do you think?

    Hi Masa! Thank you for leaving the first comment on my blog! So, the flashing blue light device is a bluetooth microphone. If you look at the picture on this post, the box on top of the camera is the receiver for the mic. It's very good quality.

    Awwww, I love Amy she does such a good job of presentation. I like the new flash memory cameras especially the new lower prices. Although I still like my camera. Was the dialogue through the bluetooth, I saw her wearing the transmitter. If so it sounded great, whats the drawback on using the cameras mike on the distance you were filming from? Ambient noise was low, was that post production? sorry about all the questions : /

    What are your comments about Canon's new HV50, or have you done a segment on the product? Close to a handycam and supposedly its one of the best quality HD consumer digital video cameras available. What's Sony's comparable?
