Unboxing for my friend in France named @masamuneto

Some time last year I met @masamuneto on twitter. He has kindly sent me a flower or plant of the day for months via twitter! Masa is a landscape designer and geek who is constantly working on beautiful scenery as well as cool geeky stuff. I’ve been asking his advice on what plants to get for my new place in San Diego. Today I got this really great little garden at the Thread Show in San Diego. The glass bubble garden comes from a place called Tend Living. I’ll probably keep this one at the Sony Electronics office. I still have a lot of moving in to do there before I feel at home. I think a nice little garden will help.

  • Those were so beautiful! So did they give you the syringe to water it too?
  • Yes! I got the syringe to water and some twine to hang it. I'm torn though... was thinking about taking it to the office, but I kind of love having it at home. =)
  • Gauthier
Sukjhit you just gave me an idea for christmas! I have to find something like that for my sister. Hopefully I can find something similar in France
  • Cool! So glad I could help. I love this little garden, it's cute and not to hard to take care of. Good luck finding one..you could also make it.
  • Hi Sukhjit thanks for this unboxing. Usually the cactus you have in your glass bubble are easy to take care of. ;-) Since October i'm creating garden for this place http://restaurantbruno.com/. I will show you other photos with aromatic garden.
When i've a best inernet connexion i will share a video.
  • I'll be sending you some pictures of my patio soon Cedric! Thanks for the pics from the Aromatic garden. That is such a great idea.. to choose plants for their fragrance.
  • i need something like that for my office. i dont have any windows where i work, its nice to be reminded of sunlight and plants every once and a while.
  • Totally. Plants are so important. I left all my plants in sf, so I'm starting from scratch. I think the cactus will be easiest to take care of. What kind of plants are you gonna get?
