Unboxing: Power Dock 2

I got a box from Griffin a while back and thought it was time to do an official unboxing with it! Griffin makes great Apple accessories and this box contains a charging station for the iPod, iPhone, Nano and iTouch called the Power Dock 2. It has 2 docks so if you have more than one Apple product or are in a Apple household then this is great because it lets more than one device charge at a time. I also like that it gives those delicate devices a safe place to recharge. The dock is perfect for 2 iPhones and if you want to charge your Nano or Touch there are several adapters in the box to make a spot for those too. One drawback for 3G iPhone owners, you have to buy an adapter for that phone but it’s pretty easy to find. I looked it up on the Griffin website and it’s only 2 bucks.

The Power Dock 2 runs about $50 and can be found at Circuit City, Best Buy, and of course online.

  • Apple is the best. I use whatever gadget of theirs that I can get my hands on. They always come up with newest innovations! Synching this with that, you bet that this dock will be useful for people like me. Way to go apple! And now, back to webhosting.

    That's a pretty neat idea, and cheap, too. instead of having all those wires dangling around. I think it's a good thing to have for people in apartments or studios (like me) because we don't have that much space. All that clutter of wires can be eyesores and I've always been an apple fan.

  • nice gadget , hope this works fine , but very often snags occour when we use these gadgets for apple based products .i guess they just make it but do not match with the quality of apple .
  • i wonder why they themselves do not come out with the accessories?
    i don't think that they have entered that segment yet.
    this can prove to be a good market though.
    nice gadget now one can charge 2 apples at one time in one dock.

    PowerDock 2 which has been designed to enable a user to simultaneously charge an iPhone and an iPod.The company said that the device is capable of charging any two dock connector equipped devices. So, the user can also charge two iPods or two iPhones simultaneously. Nice blog

    WELL after reading this i can say that griffen really does come out with great apple accessories, two in the pack of one , i mean charging 2 apple products wih one device .. good thing.

    I am new to the blog commenting realm. I have always read blogs to find useful information but have recently started leaving comments to build up my linking campiaign. I only leave quality comments on the topic of the blog and I believe what I add to the discussion is useful. However, I have noticed that most of my comments never show up. I wish someone would go into detail about what spamming a blog is. Maybe, I am doing something wrong. I think knowing the rules could be benificial to a lot of people.

  • finally got to eat my cupcake (i put it in the fridge as soon as i got it cause i wasnt feeling good) i put it in the microwave for about 20 seconds and it was AMAZING! it was like a party in my mouth and someone spiked the punch!

    Yea, I'm a big Apple fan. I really wanted an iPhone but I'm tied to my Verison contract for another year! I guess it's ok because it's saving me some money... the data plans can be so expensive. I did win a touch at a Tech conference this year and that has been a really cool too. I like it very much and recommend it if you don't want to take the plunge into iPhone land!

    Sukhjit- Thanks for the unboxing! This product is cool if you have a lot of iPod products. I just wish the would add an adapter for the shuffle. I use the shuffle during my workouts and it would be nice to park it somewhere so that I knew it was charged and ready to go...

  • What's up Larry! Thank so much for leaving a comment. You need one of these chargers for sure with the number of apple devices floating around your house. BTW it has a gagillion adapters and I think there is one for the shuffle so you can use any 2 of your i(insert apple product of choice)'s here.
