nice! that's a good idea. thank god the apple keyboards are standardize; it makes it easier to buy a skin for your keyboard.

pc users literally have to buy a new keyboard. the best editing accessory I have ever bought was this: http://www.contourdesign.com/shuttlepro/ …in fact if you have bought one already you should! It's so worth it!

not to mention you can you it with some many other things as well.

i'm totally buying one of these, i have one of the slim apple keyboards and i got FCP a while back but everytime i use it i find myself fiddling around like an idiot trying to find the right keys and menus, this will be awesome especially when i start my videography class in a couple of weeks. this discount was kind of the deal sealer =)

I don't even use FCP but I want this. Figure it would be soooo useful once I start using FCP

This is awesome. I am not much of a video editor, but my friend and roomate (@Dparsons22 on Twitter) is always using finalcut. I will surely let him know about this and I look forward to more of your stellar videos!

I just bought one of the FCP shortcut skins after seeing the video.
Very cool. The company website is not user friendly and paypal is the preferred payment service. Probably best to buy at the show.

I am having the same problem as you… the xskn site is very hard to navigate. If I have their contact info, I'm going to tell them that a few people have mentioned this. It's good feedback, don't you think. If all fails, I may have to get you to help me figure out how to buy the keyboard I want! I can't seem to figure it out yet!

Very cool! This would definitely be a big help to a freelance FCP editor such as myself. But why do all the Final Cut keyboard skins on their website look suspiciously like Avid skins?

Nice site Sukhjit. Thank you for  discovering my product. I am a Canadian artist of Russian decent living in China for the last 13 years and the owner of XSKN since the days of the 1st iPod. To give you a bit of background on our short cut skins, they are designed by a Danish instructor of various programs used on Apple computers. This instructor is highly recognized by Apple. I take his layouts and silk screen them onto silicone skins and have been doing this for years. I am very interested on what hear what users would like to see improved. For example I am working on a method to increased the size of the keys so that the printed symbols will be larger and I hope the application will be that much easier to use.
