Yooo hooo… what are you up too?BTW – I’m embedding this on my site… www.sukhjit.me so I can check in and see what friends across the WWW are up too..

I’m driving to the farm this weekend to spend the Thanksgiving week with my family. But first I’m going to yoga class. What are you up to? Leave a message, please… I’d love to know what some of my friends are doing this weekend and for the Turkey Day holiday ahead…

    Hey there! I'm having a quiet weekend – probably head out for a walk today, then maybe a little golf action tomorrow…. It's an amazing blue-sky day here in San Francisco. I can't wait until the lights come on in Huntington Park this coming weekend.

    Count me in for the tree lighting ceremony at Huntington Park!! I love this time of year for that. Sounds like you have a nice weekend ahead. Hope the SF blue skies stick around for you Jemima.

    I'm spending the weekend getting reorganized for next week (WhooHoo, fun!). Monday is cleaning, because Hannah's mom is visiting for Thanksgiving. I've also got a director meeting the day after Turkey Day. Have a great time at your parents… don't forget to blog;)

    Yaaaay! I love it when Ohdocta visits sukhjit.me. Sounds like you have a very busy agenda. I didn't know you ran 8 sites! Wow. I'm barely able to keep up with this one. I want to know more about your other projects. I showed your show to my friend @lizpayne who is a former colleague of mine from HGTV. She was impressed by your online presence and when I told her it was a side project and not your main gig she was pretty amazed because of how well done your site is and how much thought and time goes into your videos. It shows. Anyway.. Owen a note from you makes it extra ok that I missed yoga today. = )

    Hey Rob! That sounds like a busy but nice weekend. I'll be getting lots of family time and will be sure to vlog and blog while with my folks. For some reason I get a kick out of getting them in front of the camera… they still scratch their heads and wonder what I'm doing.. but it's cute. For me priceless memories.

    Sending my best to you and your family. Thanks a million for the comment!

    Thanks for the explanation Karen. I've been wonder what the user experience is with my site. I know what my intention is but just want to make sure it's coming across to people and they're not intimidated to leave a comment because they don't know where or why. Just want this to be a fun place for people to stop off. I'm happy we got to chat this morning. It's great to catch up.. even if it's a little bit. I'm glad you are well.

    PS Who got 'blood work'? heard you mention it in your message.. hope nothing serious.

    Putting my menu together so I can shop early. Doing the high temp Turkey, Roasted Red Pepper–Tomato Soup, Sage Dressing, White Bean Dip with Rosemary Olive Oil, Pear and Blue-Cheese Pastry Triangles, Praline Pumpkin Torte, and my super special cranberry relish that even cranberry haters love.

    Here's the recipe, try it you'll like it! Happy Thanksgiving!

    Fresh Cranberry-Ginger Relish

    Ingredients

    * 1 bag (12 oz.; 3 1/2 cups) fresh cranberries
    * 1 lemon (5 oz.), rinsed
    * 2/3 cup sugar
    * 1/2 cup crystallized ginger, coarsely chopped
    * 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

    Preparation

    1. Rinse and drain cranberries. Remove and discard any bruised or soft ones. Gently pat berries dry.

    2. With a vegetable peeler, pare all the yellow peel (not the white pith) from lemon in thin strips; coarsely chop. Save lemon for other uses.

    3. In a food processor, whirl cranberries, lemon peel, sugar, crystallized ginger, and ground ginger just until finely chopped. Cover and chill at least 4 hours.
